Baking Bear Scallop box

Good Morning Friends,

Today i have the cutest little box to throw those delicious baked goodies into. I used the cute little Baking Bears digi set and the Scallop gift bag cutting file, both from Digital Delights.

Over at Delightful Challenges this week's challenge is Paper Piercing or Paper Piecing or you can do both which is what i did with my little goodie bag. I paper pieced baker bears apron and hat and shoes and added piercing to the sentiment and scallop border of my box.

Boy, Easter is just around the corner and i haven't even begun to get my girls baskets ready. For those of you who are prepared i applaud you. Daisy Bookmark

Good Morning!!

Hope your all having a wonderful day. This week over at Delightful Challenges we are having a FLOWER Challenge. This week i made a bookmark for one of the little girls in the Kindergarten class that i work in.

I used my scallop circle and classic circle nestabilities to cut out the main part of the bookmark. I used lots of bright colors and some bright flowery paper from my stash. I made her name using my cricut and plantin schoolbook cartridge. Love that machine, so quick and easy. added some fabulous ribbon and some glitter flowers and wahla done.

Now of coarse i couldn't forget my main image representing this adorable little girl. I used the ever so cute DAISY from the Digital Delights by Louby Loo digi store.

For this challenge i made a Horizontal Double Pocket Card. I used the Barnaby Bunny Topper of coarse i have renamed my bunny Barnabella since i can never leave these digi's alone and i made barnaby into a girl bunny by adding a beautiful purple ribbon. I also used the cracked egg from the Easter Accessories Set. I just love how these two stamps work together. Wendy has some of the Cutest Easter images and digital paper available now in the store, you must go take a look. The beautiful pastel dp i used is Tea Party from Stampin Up! one of my absolute favorites!

For the tags inside my pockets and front of my card i used lots of Gorgeous Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, some more Tea Party dp, my tab punch from SU! and some jumbo eyelets. Delightful Challenge and Digital Delights Digi Day at SNR

It's time for another Delightful Challenge and this week is....

Today i used my little buddy Bouquet Ridley available at Digital Delights and is also on SALE by the way (my favorite word). You can check out the Sale HERE. I used my Holly embossing folder to emboss my background and the mat in the frame. Love this embossing folder, it makes everything look so elegant. I then used my scallop square nestability to make a frame and then used my classic square nestability to make the mat inside the frame. I then colored and cut out Ridley and foam dotted him onto the frame for dimension. For my flowers i used a flower punch from SU! (retired) then used my Martha Stewart heart lace border punch to get the little red hearts to put in the middle of my flowers.

I Embossed the bottom brown panel with my D'vine Swirls embossing folder, added my heart lace border made with the Martha Stewart border punch, added a little pink heart brad in Augustus's hands and wahla an adorable little Valentine card. Quick and Easy. Now if you notice the little hearts on my bottom panel, those are the little hearts that come out of the lace hearts when you punch them out can't let them go to waste right.

Happy New Year!!! Delightful Challenge

Happy Thursday!!

Another week flying by, mine has been pretty eventful with getting shopping done, getting teacher's gifts baked, subbing at the school and ending with my two youngest girls and myself being sick with the flu. ugh!

I did however manage to get my DT creation done for this week's Delightful Challenge. Our challenge this week is HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I am just so in love with these adorable little dumpling babies that i just had to use the Little Dumpling Happy New Year boy and the Happy New Year Sentiment to make my Countdown to the New Year chain. My girls make one of these chains every Christmas in school to Countdown to Christmas so i just borrowed the idea and made one for New Years and every night one of my girls tear off a link.

Happy Monday, Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Today is a new Squigglefly Challenge and we would like to see those Non~Traditional Christmas tags. For my tag i used Christmas with Oswalda, all dressed in her winter clothes and doing her Christmas shopping.

I used some very non traditional colors and to tell you the truth i really ended up liking the way it came out. Wasn't too sure when i was putting it together though lol.

Kitty's 1st Christmas

Hello Friends,

Today i have a cute little card i made for my little fur baby. This year will be his very 1st Christmas so i just had to make him a card for his scrapbook page right? I also made it to go with this week's Delightful Challenge....

FLOWER POWER

I used the ever so adorable Christmas Stocking Toby image from Digital Delights. I colored him orange just like my little guy, added some cotton to his hat and of coarse the glitter to the ball of his hat, candy canes and stocking. gotta have that bling!! added my poinsettas and there you have it, my little guys momento. although i must say i'm very nervous about putting up my tree and my gifts. he's a very mischievious cat and i have a feeling my tree will be taking a tumble at least a couple of time this season~yikes! and the gifts, well I think we will wait on putting those under the tree or we may wake up to a bunch of unwrapped gifts and an outdoor cat lol. Well i guess we'll see. :0)

New Delightful Challenge~ Winter Theme

Good Morning, Thanks for joining me today. Well it's Thursday and we have a fabulous new Delightful Challenge for you this week and the theme is WINTER.

This week i used Stocking Noah from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I just think he is such a cutie!! Ok so you may be wondering why he is in pink, well that's what you get when you ask 3 girls what color i should color him, poor little guy he didn't stand much of a chance. I'm sure whoever receives this Christmas card will understand. lol. Boy does this card sparkle, I embossed some silver metallic paper with my snowflake embossing folder and added some pink sparkles to the snowflakes. then added some glitter and sparkles to Noah's oufit and stocking.

Sorry my post is a little late it's sure a monday around here. Just when i think i'm finally getting caught up i go and misplace my camera Ugh!!!! but here it is and we have a new Squigglefly Challenge for you today. 2 New Mini Releases at Digital Delights and a tag

Hello Friends, I'm so happy you stopped by today. I'm super Excited to tell you about two new mini releases available today at Digital Delights!!! This first set is a definate must for all those holiday goodies your giving out.

I made this little tag using one of the images from the Gingerbread set. The little yummy for your tummy sentiment is also new and available today. I love giving out homemade goodies to some of my friends and family and these little guys are perfect to go with them.

Aren't they just the cutest?? below is the colored version of this set for those of you who need quick little creations these are perfect. The black and white version is also available at the digi shop along with a few new sentiments that will go perfectly with this set.

Stitching Challenge at Digital Delights and NEW RELEASES!!!

Today i used this sweet little cutie Oralie the Sleepy Mouse. Poor little guy is all tuckered out and ready to go to bed. I went with the faux stitiching on my card seeing as how i have yet to figure out how to change the thread on my little sewing machine. Thank goodness for dp that already has some stitching in it. I used my Argyle embossing folder and embossed the dp in the back and the circle under my image. looks a lot like stitching and it's quick and easy. I also added some little dots using my white gel pen to the little scallops around my image and there you have it.

A New Delightful Challenge~CIRCLES

For this challenge i used Razzle Reindeer and made a cute little Christmas ornament. I made my ornament using the two largest classic circle nestabilities. The top was made using a tab punch from Stampin up! I added a red sparkle to Razzle's nose. Can't let Rudolph be the only red nosed reindeer can we?

Hello My Friends and Happy Thursday!!!

Are you all ready for a new Delightful Challenge?

Well, we have one for you today at the Delightful Challenge blog and the challenge is Metal Mania~that's right, we want to see some metal on your creation. I used Lenny the Lion from Digital Delights, Wendy also has a Grrreat sentiment that goes with him but mine is computer generated since i couldn't find my image anywhere on my computer, how disorganized is that!!! I used the sketch over at 2 sketches 4 U as a jumping off point and just kept adding. lol. I used some twine under my Lenny image and separated the strands to try to add texture and look of a lions mane. Anywho here is a close up of this adorable little lion.

Color Challenge at Delightful Challenges with New Releases!!!

Hello Friends,

It's New Release Day at Digital Delights by Louby Loo and boy do we have some adorable Christmas images to show you!!! It's also time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges. This week's theme is another Color Challenge and your colors are:

Red, White and Green

The New Release image i used for this week's challenge is Santa Bryce. OMGosh is he not the cutest?? I also used the Naughty and Nice letter from the Christmas Accessories set also being released today. I added lots of sparkle on the white of his hat and suit (of coarse it hard to see but looks awesome IRL) also used a glitter brad on the sparkly poinsettia. I added some glue to his beard and then placed a cottonball on it, let it dry and pulled. I really liked the way it came out.

It's Friday!!!

Are you all as Excited as i am? Two days of not getting up at 5 in the AM. Well actually three the girls have no school on Monday Woohoo!!

New Sketch Challenge at TCC!!

Happy Friday!!

Are you all ready for a new sketch challenge? Well we have one for you over at The Character Cafe. I used today's sketch and the Lillies digi image to make a birthday card for my Best Friend's Grandmother who's in her 90's!! so of coarse i had to make it pretty special.
I printed out two images and colored one, then cut out the petals on the other image and colored and cut them out, added foam dots and placed on top of my colored image to give it dimension. Then topped it off with lots of glitter!!! boy does it sparkle! I sure hope she likes it.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere Delightful Challenge

Happy Thursday my friends!!!

It's Challenge day at Delightful Challenges and this week's challenge is

PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS EVERYWHERE!!

We want to see those beautiful creations with a pumpkin on it.

For this week's challenge instead of adding a pumpkin to my card i made my card in the shape of a pumpkin. I used my largest classic Oval Nestability to make my pumpkin shape and then embossed them with the Holly Ribbons embossing folder and sponged some autumn terrecotta ink to give it a distressed more fall look. I then added my Cutie patootie Dilly Duck digital image from Digital Delights.

New DD Challenge and Digi Day at SNR

Hello Friends,

It's Thursday and boy do we have lots of things going on today at Digital Delights. Today is our new challenge:

Ribbons, Ribbons and more Ribbons with a fall color theme.

DD Lace and Pearls Challenge

Wow!! Thursday already, boy the time sure is flying. Nonetheless we have a Fabulous new challenge for you at Delightful Challenges. This week's challenge is...

Getting Girly with PEARLS and LACE.

for this week's challenge i used Bride and Groom, one of the August New Releases.
I used some lace i found in my stash to frame the image and added lots of sparkle to her dress and flower (which you can not see) with a stardust glitter pen. The two top flowers are also covered in black glitter, very sparkly and pretty IRL and i added some white flatback pearls to the middles. I tried to make the card a little more elegant by using the black and silver cardstock and simply embossing the background.

Time for a new challenge at The Character Cafe. This week's color with a twist challenge is:

IN COLORS ~Color palette w/dimensional glaze

Of coarse if you do not have these exact colors anything close will do.

looking at these colors i instantly thought of Halloween, so i chose to use Simonstein, one of TCC's August release images. I used the dimensional glaze on Simonstein's shoes to give them more of a patent leather look. lol.

Today i'd like to show you a card i made using one of The Character Cafe's August releases, this is Fairy Syvilla Rose, isn't she just Gorgeous!!
Below is a close up, because well my camera skills stink!!

I tried to give her lots of sparkle and shine so i used some prisma glitter on her wings and added some sparkle to the rose with my glitter pen. i also added some clear glaze to some of the petals on the rose to give it a wet look. ya, you can't see it here. but looks beautiful IRL.

It's Monday and you know what that means, another fabulous Squigglefly challenge. This week's challenge is to make a sympathy card using brown and ivory while at the same time keeping it simple. For my card i chose to use one of Michelle Bertuzzi's Sympathy Sentiments. It's a beautiful set full of wonderful sentiments for that sometimes difficult to say card. I embossed my panel with the D'vine Swirls embossing folder, added some sponging to the edges and two butterfly punches with mini white pearls.

Cute little Kitty

Good Morning to you all,

today i have this cute little kitty card that i wanted to share with you. I made this card for my oldest daughter's birthday. We recently got a kitten from our local shelter that she just adores, so i thought this card would be perfect for her. I printed out the kitty image that i got awhile back from myscrapchick.com, I printed out some paw print digi paper that i found at Squigglefly, i did my best to color him the same color as our kitty and well here you have it. I'm pretty happy with it.

New Delightful Challenge~ DISTRESSING

Hello Friends,

I'm so Excited i got my computer back!! :0) and just in time too, Today starts another great challenge at Delightful Challenges and this week it's DISTRESSING. I don't know about you but i just love the distress look on cards.

Today is also New Release Day at Digital Delights and we have our August Release available at the Digi Shop.

The image i was given to work with is Sparky the Knight, I just adore this image!! of coarse i just love anything medieval so this release is definately one of my favorites.

I used my top note die cut for the top of my card and the distressed stripes embossing folder for my mat. i then used some black chalk to went over the stripes to give them a little more distress look. I printed off two copies of Sparky. i colored certain parts of my image on both copies and cut out the pieces i wanted to give dimension to and added them to my main image with foam dots. The sentiment i used is also one of the newly released Knight sentiments available at the digi shop.

When your candles don't fit on your cake!! in my opinion i think the cakes are just becoming too dang small!! lol. This week i used this scrumptious Ants Picnic image by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I don't know about you but when i think of a picnic basket lunch i instantly see a red checkered blanket. So i just had to print the image out on my red gingham dp and paper piece it to my image. while looking through my many paper packs i also ran across this dp that had little sprigs of grass, how perfect was that?? for my embellishements i added two mini brads to the basket handles and a cute red bow on top of my little girl ant. My sentiment is one i made off the computer, thought it would work perfectly here.

Yep, another Christmas card, getting close to that time of the year so i'm trying to get ahead and start my Christmas cards already. I used an earlier image called Jacob Santa, doesn't he make an adorable little santa? I used some white liquid applique on the white of the Santa outfit to add some texture, i tried not to make it too girly but kept adding to it and well oops! I like the way it came out, hopefully whoever i send this card to will also. Well, that's it for today, You can see more fabulous creations using TCC images by visiting the TCC DT below. A New Delightful Challenge

For this week's challenge i used the Digital Delights images Mermaid and Magical Sentiment and just went glitter crazy!!! but hey what's a mermaid without some sparkle right??

Dairy Delights Invitation Pocket Card

Good Morning!!!
Today i have a cute little pocket card that i made using the July Release, Dairy Delights, available now at Clear Dollar Stamps.

I made my party invitation set by printing out the sweet cow and ice cream cone from the Ice Cream Parlor Digi images. I stamped the cone from the stamp set colored, cut out and pop dotted it to her hand. I cut out the big ice cream cone, colored the cone with my copics, added some pink glitter to the ice cream for lots of sparkle, added a cherry to the top and the "Here's the scoop" sentiment. Then on the back of the cone i added all the info needed for a party. Slip the cone back inside the pocket and wahla instant party invite. very sweet!! granted i wouldn't be making 100 of these or anything. lol. but the images are alot of fun to play with.

Squigglefly Challenge #57~Christmas in July

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

I hope you all had a great weekend, We got LOTS of much needed rain here so i am just thrilled!!

Well, what better way to start off a Monday than with a new challenge. This week at Squigglefly, it's CHRISTMAS IN JULY!! :0)

For my Christmas in July card i used the Shy Bear image, Caroling Bear by Lynne Stansbery. I am very much falling in love with these little guys! I colored him with my copics, added some musical note dp which i thought worked perfectly, some glitter paper and a sparkly wired bow, and i have another Christmas card ready to go. Now if i can just get them sent out on time this year i will be good to go. lol.

Today i have an amazing new image to show you, this is "Beach Swing" from artist Cheryl Alger and it's one of many New images being released today at Squigglefly.com.

Doesn't this image just scream summer?? Of coarse you know me and summer mean bright colors, so here they are again. I also added a summer sentiment from C.C.Designs. Not alot happening on this card because i didn't want to take away from the image, so i just added some polka dot dp to tie in with the floaties around their waist. Now, for my card i used this Gate fold tutorial with July's Newly released oh soooo adorable Birthday Spott image. I just fell in love with spott the minute i saw him. This set comes with 6 images total. one with spott all on his own and 5 more of spot holding a balloon with the numbers 1-5 in it. I chose to use the number 5 because my daughter's birthday party is this week and she just turned 5 and she loves cute little images like this. Of coarse being a birthday card i had to use bright fun colors to celebrate.

For today's challenge i have used the Newly Released "Dress up Lili" image available today at the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Digi shop.

I used some of my fabulous Imaginisce dp for my card, colored Lili with my copics and added some white fun flock to the white stripe on her body to feel like fur. I added a ribbon and some prima flowers to give it a summery look. I also used a sentiment from Skunk Sentiments also released today.

CDS Dairy Delights by Louby Loo Preview

Good Morning Friends,

Today is preview day at Clear Dollar Stamps and i have a card using the deliciously sweet "Dairy Delights" clear stamp set by Louby Loo Creations and digital accessories to show you.

I used the ice cream cart from the ice cream parlor digi's, printed it out twice, cut the wheels and the awning off one of the images, colored and pop dotted them to the main cart to give them some dimension. For the awning i taped the top to the main image and added the pop dots a little lower on the main image to make it flair out some. looks pretty neat IRL. i added some white flat back pearls to the middle of my wheels to make them stand out a bit. for the background mat on my card i used the Argyle embossing folder and tried to make the appearance of a waffle cone to go with the cute little sundae stamps that i used from the Dairy Delights stamp set. I also used the stamp "Here's the scoop" for the name of my ice cream cart. Now i just used the sundaes from the set, but take a look at the adorable stamps that make up the rest of this set:

Okay, now if that wasn't just the Sweetest, take a look at the fabulous Digi images that compliment the stamp set pefectly!! These images are available already colored or black and white, whichever you prefer.

The "Dairy Delights" Clear Stamp set will be available at Clear Dollar Stamps on July 1st. The Ice Cream Parlor Digital Accessories will also be available on July 1st at the Digital Delights Digi Shop.

Bah Humbug

Good Morning my friends,

Well i sure hope you are reading this post right now seeing as how i had to schedule it, so i just hope it worked. LoL!!

Anyways, today is my week off from The Character Cafe challenge so i'm blogland bound looking for challenges to enter my Sassy Miss Priss Card into. The Bah Humbug sentiment is also included with one of the images in the set. I chose to cut it apart and use it on it's own.

I chose to use the Miss Priss image from The Character Cafe to enter her into the Digital Tuesday, Christmas in June Challenge. boy, by the look on her face she is not so keen on Christmas in June. a little too early for her maybe? I also used the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious for my card. I'm also going to enter her into the ABC Challenge ~X for Xtra dimension.

I used my all time favorite digi Sitting Penny from Digital Delights. I just love this little girl, as you can tell by my banner. Exciting News!! and a new card

Happy Monday Friends!

I'm so Excited to announce that Beginning July 1st i will be designing for Squigglefly. I just love the variety of artists and images they have there.

Of coarse i just had to jump right in and start creating using one of their fabulous images. I chose to use Chesney Young's "Number One" image. I made this cute little tag using my daughter's school colors to put on her sports bag. Close up:
I made my own background paper by random stamping "Go Team" using a stamp from one of my other stamp sets.

Feature Friday #22

WoW i seem to be saying that alot. these fridays are coming way too fast! LoL

Welcome to Feature Friday #22 with The Character Cafe. Today we have another technique challenge for you:

PAPER PIECING

For my card today i used the newly released Hillary Hippo image, isn't she a sweetie!! I printed her out twice, once on some flower dp from Close To My Heart and then on white cardstock. I colored in all the pieces i wanted colored with my copics first, then I cut out the flowered body from the dp and glued it to my white image. The hippo birthday sentiment is also included on one of the images. i just used my punch to separate it and added it to the top of my card. Paper piecing is so much fun, it's also a great way to use up some of that leftover dp you have laying around.

Now it's your turn, grab an image and paper piece away. Be sure to upload your creation to Mr. Linky on The Character Cafe blog before next Thurs. at Midnight.
