Sarah Kay Cardstock Box

I've wanted to make a card box for awhile now but just haven't wanted to go looking for measurements or a template. Then i came across one of my daughters empty puzzle boxes, at first i was going to just alter the box but it had a picture printed on the top that wouldn't be easy to completely hide so i just took the measurements and made my own box.

I used the scallop punch from Su! to make the side of the box a little more elegant. I then added panels to all four sides with the same paper i used on top. the panels also help the box become more sturdy.

I also matted the inside of the box to give it a more finished look. and so it wouldn't be so blah when you opened it.

I used the ruffle effect for the frame around my image using the instructions i found on Leigh's blog here. I really liked how this box turned out. I hope you enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!! :0)
