Preview for CDS~ 50's Kids

Hello Friends,

April 1st is New Release Day at Clear Dollar Stamps and i'm Excited to show you a preview of one of those fabulous sets.

I made my card using the soon to be released 50's Kids set by Wendy Hall of Louby Lou Creations. Now how adorable are they? When i saw this set i immediately thought of the Route 66 paper pack from Ctmh that i've been hoarding for quite awhile. So i got it out and here's what i came up with. below is the full set, you may notice the Route 66 sign i used on my card is not part of the set. It is one of the new digital images that will be available on April 1st at Digital Delights.

This Route 66 digi image is only one of many images that will be available at the Digital Delights store and will go perfectly with the new 50's Kids set. Be sure to visit the store on April 1st for a look at the rest of the images.

Just Because Images

Hello there! Are you all enjoying your weekend?

Today i have a cute little gal to show you. This little cutie is one of the "Just Because" images at Digital Delights. I did something a little different and made a card in the shape of an egg instead of my regular square card. I used the fabulous image Easter Egg Girl image and the Happy Easter scroll sentiment. This fabulous paper i got is from DCWV and the flowers all have glitter and shimmer to them, as always my fabulous camera skills could not capture the sparkle.

It's Feature Friday at The Character Cafe, and that means a new Challenge for you this week. This week's challenge host, Our Fabulous Angie E has chosen:

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

For this challenge i used the AB Bundle image from The Character Cafe and made a little treat bag cover, using the tutorial found Here. they are very simple to make and would be perfect for a baby shower or depending on the image you choose any occasion really.
the inside consists of a little cellophane bag holding any kind of treat you wish to use. below is a picture of what the treat bag looks like standing on it's own.

Hello Friends,

I'm so glad to be back in the blogging world with all of you. Last week was spring break for the kiddos so we took the girls out of town for a little time away and some fun. We also got them a new jungle gym so over the weekend we spent all our time getting that built, then the girls had their parent teacher conferences today so needless to say my crafting time was put on hold. but, i do have this cute little box i made before all the craziness started and thought it was time i posted something so here goes...

I made another one of these cute little boxes that i found on Maria Bell's blog. I used this cute little Sock Monkey Girl that i found at Bugaboo Stamps.

well, things should be returning to normal starting tomorrow so i 'm hoping to get back some more of my crafting time. I thank you for coming by and visiting and hope to see you soon!!

Happy Birthday Boots

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Well what do you know it's another birthday card!! the majority of my cards are birthday cards, with three girls in school my little ones are forever bringing home invitations at the spur of the moment, so i figure you can never have too many birthday cards right?

Happy New Release Day Everyone!!

TCCFF#15 Challenge

Happy Friday My Friends!!

Are you ready for a new Feature Friday Challenge with The Character Cafe? I certainly hope so because we have a fabulous sketch this week from our very own talented Deanne.

For this challenge i used the Piper n Prince image from The Character Cafe shop. (click on card for a close up) she was an absolute dream to color. I used my new spellbinders tags that i received as a gift from my hubby for my birthday yesterday. He's such a sweetie. he knows exactly what i like. for the brown panel i embossed it with the Holly ribbons embossing folder i purchased during Christmas time. I use it for everything, it's gorgeous.

My sentiment is one i printed out on my computer, and i added a couple small pearls next to it. The dp i chose to use on my card is from a beautiful paper pack from Ctmh. I added a flower embellishment up top and some small gem flowers on the bottom and i think it finished the card off beautifully.

Well, that's going to do it for me today, i hope you will play along with us this week. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Gone Fishing

Happy Wednesday my friends!!!

Today i have a card i made using the this great sketch from Treehouse Stamps. I did however rotate it seeing as how i can never just leave sketches the way they came. I used this fabulous turtle image from Bugaboo stamps. I just adore their images. they are so easy to work with. The fish in the circle and my sentiment are from fishing sets i purchased from CTMH. I embossed one side of my card with the mosaic embossing folder to try to give it the same look of the turtles shell. The fabulous dp i used is also from Ctmh. I added some black twine instead of ribbon(which i love) to kind of mimic the fishing line on the rod.

I do want to take this time to give a big THANK YOU to all my wonderful friends who have sent birthday wishes to me today. I am so blessed to have such fabulous friends in my life!! big HUGS to you all!!

Another Birthday Card

Happy Monday!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Today i have another birthday card to show you. I made this one for a little boy in my daughter's preschool class. I got this stamp set a longggg time ago from Stampin Up! and i think this is only the second time i've used it. Hopefully with the girls in school now i will be able to use it more often, we'll see.

Hello Friends,

Today i'm showing you a card i made for my Dearest Sweetest best friend. She is having a birthday dinner for me tonight so i thought i would make her a card to Thank her.

For her card i used the oh so sweet April from C.C.Designs. The fabulous sketch i used came from Anne at The Pixie Cottage challenge #10. I colored her with my copics and used some of the beautiful roses from Prima. I am so loving those roses. I matted my image using the classic and scallop oval nestabilities and i sponged the inside of my oval to give it some color. I made my border using my Martha stewart lace border punch and crimper. i stamped my Thank you sentiment and used my small and lg oval punch to mat it. I finished it off using Basic grey and Ctmh pearls. Well, that's all i have to show for today. Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting!! Have a Fabulous Day!

Happy Saturday to you all!!! Hope your enjoying your weekend so far. This week i joined in Inktegrity's Hump Day Inspiration #1 and for my card i used this adorable bunny image also from Inktegrity.

I just love Easter Images all the bunnies and chickies, i have boat loads of bunny images so needless to say when i saw this cutie i just had to add him to my arsenal. I used some of my new springy We Are Memory Keepers paper i got from my LSS. I just love it! I also used this sentiment i found in one of my Easter sets from C.C. Designs that i bought last year and never used.

We are hoping to have all the kinks worked out and launch the blog next month, but we just couldn’t contain our excitement and want to get our feet wet now with OUR FIRST EVER BUSY BEAUTIES CHALLENGE! Our theme is “GO GREEN!” and the challenge is to use GREEN as the predominate color on your card/project. The challenge is open from now through WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17TH (St. Patrick’s Day)! BBB images are of course encouraged & preferred, but not required for this one.
