WOW!! How about that, i went from not posting in over a week to two posts in one day-lol. I apologize for the lack of posts but now that school is out the girls have me on the go, from volleyball practices to games to reading programs, lunch programs, birthday parties, and now the public pool just opened!! this is seriously cutting into my creating time lol- but school will be starting before we know it. so i'm just going to enjoy all the craziness. Okay, now if you're still with me I made this card for AmyR's Friday Sketch. I used another C.C. Design Swiss Pixie Gretel. Gosh, i hope Christine makes more of them i think they have become my new favorite. My happy Birthday sentiment is from AmyR's Stamps Birthday Sentiments set. Winter Wonderland Challenge

Hi there! Today's card is for the Winter Wonderland Challenge. I am on a roll, two Christmas cards already done~lol. but, seriously i don't think it can get any better making one card a week and being done by Christmas. so i'm going to try my best to keep up with these challenges. For this weeks theme our card is suppose to be inspired by a Christmas Carol, so i chose Away in a Manger. I tried to keep this card simple to not take away from my main image. I really like how this one came out of course this is one of my favorite Christmas images so thats probably why. I hope you enjoy it too and i can't wait to visit all your blogs and see your wonderful christmas creations!! Have a wonderful day.

ATS Wednesday Challenge~Bag in a Box

Happy Friday to you!! Today i did the ATS Wednesday Challenge~ bag in a box. I've done one before so i thought why not do another for the challenge. These are very simple to make, especially if you need a cute quick bag for a small gift this is perfect. for my bag i found quick, easy to follow instructions here. for this challenge i used C.C.Designs Eric & Chrissy go Prehistoric. The dp i found in my stash and thought it looked pretty prehistoric so i figured it would go perfectly with Chrissy, especially having so much pink on it. I gave the band around the bottom of my box, the tab at the top and the mat around chrissy some texture using the mosaic embossing folder. AmyR's Friday Sketch

Hello! Well i didn't think i was going to get my card done for AmyR's Friday sketch challenge. I'm not too thrilled with it but it will have to do since i'm running out of time. I had a totally different card in my head that i really wanted to do and it was just NOT cooperating so i had to scrap it!! Don't you just hate when that happens?

and now looking at the pictures i'm not really liking how they turned out either! WOW, maybe today was a bad day for me to post. Well, here's hoping you all like it, and i hope you are all having a better day than me-lol!! Have a WONDERFUL day!! :0)

Winter Wonderland 1st challenge- O Christmas Tree

Yikes!!! I know your probably saying Christmas already? I came across a new blog called Winter Wonderland and they started their first challenge this week. It's totally Christmas inspired to help us to get a jump start on our Christmas projects. I love this idea seeing as how i'm a HUGE procrastinator when it comes to making my Christmas cards unfortunately. so i'm hoping this will help me i'm so excited to give it a try. Well this weeks theme is O' Christmas Tree and this is the card i came up with. It uses the stamp set Snow Swirled from SU! I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Friday Sketchers #54

Happy Monday to you!! hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today's card i made for Friday Sketcher's #54 challenge. This sketch from Jacqueline was such a fun sketch. I will be using it again. for this card i used C.C.Designs new Surfer Emma. I am soooo in love with these little cuties. I have so many beach pictures of my girlies to scrapbook so i will be having lots of fun using them.
