Pollycraft Challenge #25 ~ Five "S" words

Happy Monday Morning!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today's card was made for the Pollycraft Challenge. The challenge was to try to use at least 2 of the 5 "S" words. Stripes, Spots, Snowflakes, Swirls, and my favorite Sparkle, on your creation. if you use all 5 you get a free single image download of your choice. How cool is that. For my card i used one of the Cherry Kisses images and used my oval nestabilities to mat her. i covered the snowballs in prisma glitter for lots of SPARKLE. i used my creative basics Jingle collection pattern paper from Ctmh, that has SNOWFLAKES on it, i stamped some snowflakes in the background of my image and added a sparkly snowflake in the corner of my card. for my large snowflake punch i used some cool new paper from ATS , Cosmo Glitter Paper, it gives out lots of shimmer. My pattern paper also has spots around the snowflakes and just for good measure i added a small basic grey brad in the middl
e of my punched snowflake with SPOTS. I also used my cuttlebug to make a mat of SWIRLS using my D'vine swirls embossing folder. The STRIPES of coarse is my other piece of matted pattern paper. So there you have it my creation using all
5 "S" words. I know it's only fall and i'm posting winter cards ugh!, i'm just never happy. lol. I will be posting more fall cards very soon i'm hoping. Well that's it for today i thank you for stopping by. Have a Wonderful Day!! :0)

Winter Wonderland ~ gift box and card

Hi There!! Wow, this is the last sunday in Sept. the days are just flying by. So being the last Sunday this month the challenge at Winter Wonderland is to make a gift box, gift bag, or wrapping paper. I decided to make a small gift bag using the Genie bag tutorial from Splitcoast.
I added a card to finish it off. I used the Christmas Fairy Holly from Mo's Digital Pencil on my bag, love those images, very detailed though so i was kind of intimidated by it but i think she came out ok. I used my gellyroll pens to add lots of sparkle to her wings and dress. I also used liquid glass on the glass ball she is holding it looks so cool IRL. I used the Christmas melodies set from Ctmh for the image on my card. Well, that's all i have for today. I have lots of birthdays this month so i should have lots of birthday cards to show soon. I thank you for stopping by and i hope to see you join the challenge this week and show us your wonderful creation. Have a Wonderful Day!! :0)

Hi There!! I know i'm posting a little late but i did get another two challenges done with this one card. Now OMGosh how cute is she. I know i think i've been saying that alot lately but, seriously. This is Attitude from the Cherry Kisses digital line over at Pollycraft Designs. I must confess i am loving digi images more and more. and i absolutely fell in love with these images as soon as i saw them. I used her for the PollyCraft Monday Challenge, the challenge was to use black and white and one other color, with the exception for skin and hair color. I used my dp Pirate Princess from Rusty Pickle i thought it went perfectly. The sketch i used for my card is from AmyR's Friday Sketch.
i hope you all enjoy my card as much as i did making it. I thank you for stopping by and i hope you all have a great night!! :0)

Swing by Sometime!

Good Morning, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I managed to get two challenges done today with this one card. Over at Danni's Dreams the Flutterby Wednesday challenge is to use a fairy or a butterfly and add sparkle!! woohoo Sparkle who doesn't love sparkle. I used Lily from Pink Cat Studio, isn't she precious. I tried to add sparkle with my glitter pens and glitter everywhere i could even on the Dp. (you can click on the pictures to get a better look.) I am also using this card for the challenge over at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog. the challenge is to get punchy. Using punches or die cuts and Nestabilities DO NOT count!!! can you believe it! so i grabbed my flower punch and circle punches from SU! for my sentiment and wahla i'm done. Well i hope you all have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by, I love it when you do. :0)
Hugs,
Rachel

BeWitching!!

Good Morning Friends, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours was pretty busy and very productive, which for me means no stamp time!! :( but i did have this card already done and wanted to share with you. isn't she just fabulous!! she is one of the new september releases from C.C.Designs, Emma the Witch. I used the web embossing folder for the mat behind emma, i used my circle nestabilities to make the moon and added some bats from the spooky scenes set. i tried to sponge & distress the moon a little to make it
a bit more eerie. of coarse i had to add some glitter to emma's hat for some sparkle. my sentiment is from AmyR's Autumn sentiments set. i used Stampin Up's large oval and scallop punch to mat my sentiment. I tried to not make this card too busy, and i think i achieved that, so i'm happy. Well i hope you enjoyed her. and i thank you for coming by and visiting. i hope to see you again soon. Have a Great Day!!!

Hallie

Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. for today's card i used one of my absolute favorite images from Digital Delights. How can you not fall in love with those beautiful eyes. This is Hallie the horse, just ONE of the cutest september release images. of coarse i had to team her up with my C.C. Designs scenery stamps. that's what i love about these digi's they go perfectly with my scenery stamps and sooo much fun to color. I used the sugarplums fence that came with the Autumn kit awhile back, but is now available individually. my little birdie is from Olivia's birdies, and my sentiment is from AmyRstamps friends sentiments. Well that's it for today, i'm hoping i get some stamping done, but don't hold too much hope for that seeing as how my two youngest girls and my husband are all down with a bad cold. i hope to be back making my rounds and leaving comments on your fabulous creations soon!! Have a great night!!

Peek a Boo Ridley!!

Hello Friends, Happy Labor Day!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Ours was kind of quiet so i had some stamping time and this was one of the cards i made featuring Peek a Boo Ridley from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Wendy has some fabulous images, you must check them out. I just think he is sooo cute peeking up over the fence to say Hello. You can't tell by the picture but i printed out two copies and cut and pop dotted Ridley's head and flowers to give my card some dimension. I thought the Hello sentiment went perfectly with Ridley peeking over the fence. Well, i have more to show but i will save them for later, i hope you all have a great day and THANK YOU for stopping by.
hugs,
Rachel

FBW Happy Birthday Challenge

Hi friends, today's card is for the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge over at Danni's Dreams. I would like to take this time to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Danni, She is having a month long birthday bash and lots of candy, you must check it out. so it was only fitting that the challenge this week was to make a birthday card using a butterfly or a fairy. I used C.C.Designs Angels Everywhere digi. I used the eraser on my paint shop pro to take the halo off, making her into a fairy. The present is from the No Peeking stamp set from Ctmh, i pop dotted it to my fairy. I also put a pop dot under her wing to give it dimension. I added some glitter to her wing for some sparkle. For my banner i used the Happy Birthday set also from ctmh, and tried to give it the look of waving in the air. don't know how well that shows. remember you can always click on the image to get a closer look. Well that's it for me today. Thanks so much for coming by.

Hugs,

Rachel
