All That Scraps DTC#34/ brads galore!

Hello there, this weeks challenge at All That Scraps is brads galore! using as many brads as you can on your project. For my card i used the C.C. Designs sugarplums set, Olivia's Birdies. The sentiment is from the sugarplums sentiments set.

The background paper is from Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding. I stamped my little birdies, cut them out and pop dotted them onto the tree. I used my paper piercer and popped holes around my main image and then added my brads. Well, that's it for today. Tomorrow we are having friends over to see the UFC fight and then a superbowl party on Sunday so i doubt i will have anything to post over the weekend. I thank you for visiting and i hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!! :0)

Happy Easter!

OMGoodness, I know what your thinking- Valentines day isn't here and she's already making Easter cards!! I couldn't get this idea out of my head to use this cute bunny and put him inside an egg so i had to do it. now the only reason i posted so early is that i thought it would work out great with AmyR's friday sketch #46. for this card i used this cute little bunny from C.C. Designs new release Kisses and Hugs. my background paper is an old retired paper pack from CTMH (I'm a HUGE paper hoarder) the flowers are summer posies also from ctmh. the cracked egg is from a ctmh stamp set Easter Friends, i just pop dotted it over part of my bunny. I also glittered up the polka dots and other parts of the egg for sparkle. The Happy Easter sentiment is from the Easter Elegance set from Verve stamps. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look. Hope you all have a great day!!!

You're Super!

Hi There, today i thought i would give you a break on the valentine cards and show you something from Pink Cat Studio. This stamp is from the Billy set. such a cute set. I've also used this stamp to make a "Super Girl" card that can be seen here. Of course i had to add sparkle so i used my stardust gel pen on their masks and used my gold gel pen for billy's belt. The pattern paper is from the Good Times paper pack from CTMH. Well, that's it for today. Thanks so much for visiting! Have a great day!! :0)

For You/ ATS DTC #32

Today the ATS Design team challenge #32 is to make a double pocket bag. This is such a cute bag. If you would like to give this bag a try, you can find the tutorial here. For my bag i used the Magic Moments paper and chocolate ribbon from CTMH. The Cutie Patootie image is the C.C. Designs Gingersnap new release "Hey Cupid." I glittered her wings with Ranger Crystal Glitter. I matted her on a regular and scalloped oval using my nestabilities. for the little flowers i used a small flower punch i got long ago. I added sparkles to the middles using sparkles from ctmh. This bag came together pretty easily and i really like how it turned out, i hope you do too. Thanks so much for visiting and i hope you give this a try. Have a GREAT evening!!!

A snowy hello

Hello, I made this card today for the ATS DT challenge #31. Its a color challenge and the colors we needed to use were pink passion, kraft, and lovely lilac or colors close to those. The only color i had was kraft so i had to purchase similar colors from hobby lobby. I mixed two C.C. Designs stamp sets for this challenge. Cookie Crumbs Snow Friends and Itzie Inkies Winter Bear. I embossed my background with the heart embossing folder from the Love Language A2 combo set. I made the snow and middle of my snowflakes sparkle with Ranger crystal glitter. I used my oval nestabilities and scallop oval nestabilities for my pink mat and image panel. I punched out my purple snowflake using a Martha Stewart punch and the heart brad in the middle is one i got in a set from the target $ bin. The sentiment is from snow friends and punched out with the word window punch and matted using the Label Trio embossing die. I hope you enjoy this card, i really like the way it turned out. I wasn't too sure about the colors at first but it worked out okay. Today is also the 2nd Monday Guest Designer spotlight at the All That Scraps blog so don't forget to go see my other cards here.

Thank you so much for visiting, i love when you stop by! Have a Wonderful night!!!

Hi there!! Have you been able to stop by All That Scraps and check out the new releases yet? Today I used AmyRStamps set "Wedding". For this card i cut out all my circles using my nestabilites and stamped my high heel shoe, then glitterized(?) it for sparkle. I stamped my sentiment in the large circle and with my crystal blue ink i stamped the carriage right over it, giving the whole card a cinderella theme. I love the way this card turned out!! SNOW FRIENDS

IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!! The ATS release of all the new C.C.Designs stamp sets is tonight! I have made a card with one of the new sets being released tonight from Cookie Crumbs called Snow Friends. If you love snowmen this is going to be a must have set. I paper pieced my snowman and added some glitter on his hands and bottom for sparkle. The polar bear has white fun flock to make him furry can't really tell by the picture though, real cool IRL. (click on picture to see better view) I used my distresser and ran it across the panels and card to give it a little bit of a rugged look, other than that everything else is pretty basic. Don't forget to check out the ATS blog for the Guest Designer Monday Spotlight!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a Wonderful day!!!

C.C.Designs Digi-download Invitations

Today I have another Digi download to show you, only this time instead of shrinking her i blew her up! My little girl Emily is turning 5 this month so I get to make her invitations again this year. Eventually i know i will be hearing the dreaded words "mom can't i buy my invitations this year" (sniff sniff) anyway, i used C.C. Designs digi download Angels Everywhere. All i did was when i went to print i left it at full page and i got a jumbo Angel. When i cut her out i left off her wings and halo, and i got this cute little girl. I colored her in with my chalks and added a little bow in her hair. For the announcement i printed it on the computer, matted it onto my sweet leaf cardstock, cut it out and adhered to her hand. I also added a little in the corner and attached to the bottom of her hair so it would stay better.

Well, thats all i have to show for today. Be sure to check out the All That Scraps blog for sneak peaks of the new sets "Snow Friends" by Cookie Crumbs and "Wedding" and "Love sentiments" by Amy R Stamps available on Monday the 5th. Be sure to visit their blogs to enter their giveaways. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
