Altered Notebook w/pen

Hi there! I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I am having so much fun playing with Tilda, Today i altered a notebook that i got in a pack of 3 from walmart. They are those white legal pad type kind so they don't have a cover so i made my own. I used Tilda in Hat sitting for my image-isn't she adorable! and i used C.C. Designs-AmyR'sStamps-Friend sentiments. I'm going to give this notebook to a friend, so that means now i have to make another one for me!-lol. Thank you all for stopping by and having a look. I sooo appreciate it. :0)
Rachel

For my notebook i used a 5x8 pad. i cut my cardstock 5x9-3/4. scored one end at 3/4, 1, and 1-3/4. I adhered scor-tape to the back, top and front small panel. and decorated. -hope that makes sense.

Lauren's Saturday Sketch Challenge/ DT call

Yay, I got mine done!! This card is for Lauren Meader's Saturday Sketch challenge. Now not only do you get to make a card using one of Lauren's fabulous sketches but you also have a chance to be chosen as one of Lauren's Challenge design team members. How cool is that!! For my entry i used Princess Anya as my main image. I used a sheet of sticky paper and scallop nestability and ran it through my cuttlebug. after that i placed my image onto the middle of the scallop and poured gold glitter around it. (click on picture for better look) I's soooo sparkly i just love it!! but hey a princess has to have her sparkle right? i also added glitter to her wand and tiara. I took some curly ribbon and added it to her wand. Well i hope you enjoy my princess Anya card as much as i enjoyed making it! Have a Wonderful day, and thanks so much for stopping by!! :0)

Lauren's 1st MyTime Template Challenge

Hi There!! :0) I'm sure you've already heard Lauren Meader is mixing up her challenges and spicing them up on her blog, so if you love challenges you must check this out. Now i love to make cards and scrapbook but my #1 favorite is making gifts, which is why i was ecstatic when Lauren started sharing her templates with us. Well this week is her 1st MyTime template challenge using her fabulous templates from Papertrey Ink. For this challenge we were to use a bath product that inspires us and make the packaging using that inspiration. For mine I used Lauren's For Keep{sake} template. For this box i used two of the lids, i added one to the bottom to make it more sturdy since i used acetate for the body of the box. The sentiment i used is from C.C. Designs -AmyRstamps- Friendship sentiments. (to get a closer look you can click the picture). Now doing one of these challenges a month can you image the gifts you will create and have ready when you need them. Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting. :0)

My inspiration, I just love these colors!!!

Magnolia Box

OMGoodness how cute is she!! This is just one of the fabulous Tilda images my sweet and more than generous friend Danielle sent me. I avoided buying these little cuties for so long because i knew the minute i colored one i would be hooked, and darn it if it didn't happen!! lol-

I decided to make another box, only instead of the lid coming off i wanted it to open up like a book so i adhered one of the sides to the bottom of the box. I got my inspiration for this box from Ctmh's memory keeper box. Well that's it for today, thanks so much for stopping by!

Sarah Kay Cardstock Box

I've wanted to make a card box for awhile now but just haven't wanted to go looking for measurements or a template. Then i came across one of my daughters empty puzzle boxes, at first i was going to just alter the box but it had a picture printed on the top that wouldn't be easy to completely hide so i just took the measurements and made my own box.

I used the scallop punch from Su! to make the side of the box a little more elegant. I then added panels to all four sides with the same paper i used on top. the panels also help the box become more sturdy.

I also matted the inside of the box to give it a more finished look. and so it wouldn't be so blah when you opened it.

I used the ruffle effect for the frame around my image using the instructions i found on Leigh's blog here. I really liked how this box turned out. I hope you enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!! :0)

Card Purse

Hi There!! Hope you are all having a great Friday. Today i have this fabulous card purse I've been wanting to create using Julie's wonderful tutorial found on her blog Paper Pleasing Ideas. Instead of using it to hold cards though i put in a notepad and pen. I was having major issues with my handles so i changed them. I adhered my handles to the front with brads and then to the back only to discover my purse wouldn't open UGH!!! ( i should never make anything late at night) then i came up with another idea, i added small magnet snaps to each handle and the back of the purse. so now the handles come apart from the back of the purse and walla it opens. I am giving this to one of the ladies who commented to my Cardstock Creations post awhile back. Thank you Julie for sharing your tutorial, this card purse was so much fun to make!! :0) This may be my only post for the weekend since we have lots of Easter activities planned for the girls. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Have a WONDERFUL EASTER WEEKEND!!!

Hi there! sorry i haven't posted in awhile but i've been working on my Creations for the ladies who left a comment on my post to receive a "MyCardstock Creation." I'm sure they are happy to hear that since they have been waiting awhile. but, i took a break because i saw a very cute flower pot card thats been going around lately and decided to go find the instructions on SCS and while i was there i found the template and tutorial on how to make this adorable Mini Easter Basket, so of course i had to try one. The bunny i used for my image is from C.C. Designs Gingersnaps Spring thing. I'm hoping to get another one done so i can give them to my daughter's preschool teachers for Easter. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look. Have a Great Day!!! :0)
