Feeder Friends

Good morning, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today i have my House Mouse and Friends challenge #5 card to show you. The challenge for today was Paper Piecing. The purple flowers are all paper pieced using Paper Garden paper from ctmh. This was the perfect image to paper piece, I've stamped and colored this image before and never used it because i didn't like my coloring on the flowers. Well now i have pretty flowers and didn't have to color a thing, woohoo! the band i used in the middle of the card is the same paper used for the flowers. the rhinestones i used on the side are rhinestones that fell off my daughters shirt awhile back. haha. hey what good would they have been in the trash, right? i used clear glaze on the glass part of the feeder and stardust glitter pen on the metal part of the feeder. of course you can't tell here but it looks so nice IRL. I also used the black glaze pen for the birds eyes and boy did that make a difference. This was the first time i used the black glaze pen, so i will be using that alot more. ok, well my dryer is calling me, so i guess thats my cue to get back to work. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you all have a great day.
Recipe: feeder friends house mouse stamp, paper garden paper pkt-ctmh, watercolor pencils, clear and black glaze gellyroll pen-sakura, gellyroll glitter pen-sakura, rhinestones ?

Wow!!! Great work! I have that HM too and find it very difficult to use, but you did a wonderful job with it. The paper is perfect, it looks exactly like the colour of magnolia 'Susan'.
Love it!!!

Your card is gorgeous and so very detailed!!! I love your color choices and the beautiful way you colored this spectacular card. I also love the story of the recycled rhinestones:o) It is nice knowing I am not the only one who saves these little treasures. I cannot wait to see the beauty you create next week (:Hint. Hint:)

I must learn to read first, then comment. Your flowers look great being paper pieced. They looked like they were colored at first glance. The whole thing is a great combo of colors and I like the black pen-eye effect. Again, great card!
