Hi there friends!!! I hope you all had a great weekend. I know i sure did, although i think i ate more than i should have.~lol. Today i have another image from The Rusty Pickle. I used this cute snowman head and made a tag to go on the candy canes i am making for my daughter's preschool class. for this tag i cut my cardstock 4.5"x2" and scored each end at 3/4" cut an x in the middle of the two ends and slid my candy cane through. very easy. Feature Friday #7 Challenge

Sketch time at Delightful Sketches!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! to those of you celebrating Thanksgiving today! and to my friends not celebrating Thanksgiving HAPPY THURSDAY!!! :0) Today we have a new sketch for you at Delightful Sketches.

New Image Release from The Rusty Pickle Digital Delights and a chance to WIN!!

Hello Friends, I'm happy to announce that this week is the First Big Release of The Rusty Pickle Digital image store. Michelle will be releasing her new baby images, and i have the pleasure of showing you sneak peeks of two of them. My first card was made using the baby shoes image. I printed out the shoes colored them and cut them apart so that i could add a foam dot to one of the shoes to give it dimension and placed it over the other shoe. I added some small flat back pearls to the knot in the middle of the shoe lace. I love this image for shower invitations, party favors, or for those of you who hate to color either glitter these shoes up or color with your stardust glitter pen or heck even leave them plain white and they would make a wonderful Christening card.

For my second sneak peek i have a cute little baby carriage to show you. Since i already did a card for a girl i wanted to show this card used for a baby boy. I made this card pretty simple, not too much frills and froo froo since it's for a boy but I did add a ribbon because i didn't want to make it too masculine. Now you have a chance to win one of these two images just by leaving a comment on my blog and by following the Rusty Pickle digi blog/store here. on Wed. evening i will draw two names from my comments and there will be one winner for the shoes and one for the baby carriage. Precious Emmy

Hi There!! Wow, it's been a while since i posted. I apologize for that, i've been trying to get some projects done before the Thanksgiving holiday, since i doubt i will have much time to craft. but i've got lots to show, just can't as of yet. I do however have a card i made using Precious Emmy from The Character Cafe. I'm using her for two challenges, the first is Flutterby Wednesday at Danni's Dreams, in addition to butterflies and fairies she has added Angels for the holidays which makes me happy because i LOVE Angels. Happy Freezin' Season!!

Good Morning my friends! I am having such a blast with the winter images, can you tell. This Adorable skating snowball is from Fresh Brewed Designs. Heather just released some CUTE snowman images and instead of having a blog hop she did something a little different, her daughter Hannah made up this fabulous sketch and also added in a challenge of using the colors red, pink, and yellow. I mean how can i not enter Heather and Hannah's first challenges. so here is what i came up with. i did rotate the sketch and i added my sentiment. i just thought it went so well. I glittered my snowball, and for the trim around his hat and gloves i used red fun flock. for the trim on her gloves i used polar white flowersoft. i used liquid glass on the ice she is skating on to give it that glaze look. I also glittered up the snowflakes with red glitter, gotta have my sparkle. I hope you enjoy her, and thank you so much for visiting. Have a Great Day!!!

New Rusty Pickle Image

Hello, Today i am so Excited to show you a new image from The Rusty Pickle. The image i'm using today is Lazy Day Snowman and is just one of the adorably cute images Michelle has to offer. You can't tell in my pictures very well Ugh!, but i sparkled this little cutie up with glitter and added some polar white flowersoft on the rim of his hat. Feature Friday #6~ 3D Challenge

WOOHOO today is Friday thank goodness!! :0) that also means today is the Feature Friday challenge at The Character Cafe. This week is a 3D challenge hosted by my fabulously talented DT sister Heather. She has challenged us to make a 3 piece gift set and at least one of those pieces has to be 3D. I chose to make a Desk Organizer using the Dayzee image and made with a My Timeless Template from Lauren Meader called From the Desk of. I also made matching items to put into the organizer, didn't want to give anyone an empty desk organizer. I altered a small spiral notebook from the $ store, added some matching paper inside the pen, altered a couple of large clips to use to clip papers or use as bookmarks, and last but not least the birthday card. I hope you enjoy them and i hope they inspire you to get started on some homemade gifts for the holidays, if you haven't started already. I used Izzy with the gifts for my card. i added some white fun flock on his little elf shoes. i pop dotted the bows on the gifts to give the gifts some dimension and colored them with glitter pens. i added lots of sparkle to my snowflake by using Martha steward glitter. The mat in the back of Izzy is made using C.C. Designs Cosmo glitter paper for lots of shimmer and i embossed it with the snowflake embossing folder from cuttlebug. I also used Izzy alone as a tag. I enlarged her quite a bit and added a santa hat to her using Christmas Scamp's hat from last month's releases. I used polar white flowersoft on her hat and around her shoes. I stamped to and from on her shirt and placed a glittery candy cane in her hand. ( for a closer look, click on photos) I really enjoyed making this tag i think she looks soooo festive and would make a cute accessory to any Christmas gift don't you think? Love gives us a Fairy Tale

Hello Friends, hope you all had a wonderful weekend! :0) My 2 little princesses and my kitty kat had a fabulous time Trick~or~Treating, my goodness the candy they brought home will last till next Halloween. LOL~ anyway onto the card, Today i am showing a card made with a sweet little princess from Pixie Dust Studio. I LOVE princess images, of coarse with three girls i was bound to right? So you may see quite a few princess creations showing up on my blog. I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch, the papers i used are Perfect Day from Ctmh, I cut out my mat with the circles nestabilities and for the white inside mat and the mat for my sentiment i used C.C.Designs Cosmo Glitter paper for added shimmer. I also embossed my inside circle mat with the Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder. I added one of my favorite embellishements to my card which is the


flatback pearls. i also added some small ones to her ears for earrings. added another favorite embellishement~ribbon and my sentiment from AmyR's Wedding Stamps, also from C.C. Designs.
