Happy Birthday!!

Hello Friends, Today i have another cutie patootie from the C.C. Designs spring kit. I made this card for my daughter's best friend. When i showed my daughter the card the first words out of her mouth were "OMGosh she looks just like her!" so i was pretty thrilled about that, at the time i was making it i didn't really think about it but she really does look like her lol. For this card, i stamped the tree stump on my panel, colored and cut out emma and pop dotted her to the stump. added some mini roses, pearls, and a butterly brad embellishment and done. I love the springy feel this card has, i soooo want spring to come!! :0) Well, that's all i have for today, thank you so much for taking the time to visit!! :0)

Daisy and Dylan Preview Day at CDS

Hello Again, I hope you are all enjoying your Friday! Today i am previewing two new stamp sets from the Louby Loo Creations line over at Clear Dollar Stamps. They are the Daisy and Dylan stamp sets and they will be available March 1st at Clear Dollar Stamps. Take a peek at these absolutely precious sets.

The Daisy set:

I used the Daisy set and created this cute little box (tutorial found here) When i saw this set i didn't stand a chance, i knew i just had to have it. Perfect for all those cutesy, girly, cards or projects don't you think?

My daughter Emily is soooo girly girl and she loves to carry all these little things around with her, so i thought i'd make her this cute little box to put all her "treasures" as she says, in.

Here are all the stamps you will receive. A nice variety and sooo cute!!

Now if you're saying, hey what about the boys? Take a look at this handsome cutie and all his friends.

The Dylan Set:

This is the Dylan set, I used this set to make a matchbook card. I stamped the stone wall on the flap and pop dotted Dylan to the front of the card. i then added his pet frog and had the snail climbing up the wall. to close my card i just tuck the stone wall flap underneath Dylan's legs and wahla!

Here is the inside of the card, i added his cute little spider buddie to the inside, couldn't leave him out could i?

Lillies for Mom

Happy Friday Everyone!! Wow these weeks are just flying by aren't they? It's time again for another Feature Friday Challenge over at The Character Cafe. This is my off week so i get to cruise blog land and enter some fabulous challenges using my Character Cafe creation. This week i chose to use the Lillies digi image. This image is so much fun to work with.I printed out two digi images, heat set, and started coloring one of the lillie images with my copics. the other digi image i just colored the four petals on the left lillie, cut them out and adhered to the top of my finished lillie image. I tried to bend the petals just a little to give them dimension. I then added my glitter to give them some sparkle and then put my card together. Not a whole lot going on here, but i really liked the end result.

Sweet Friend

Hello Friends, I hope you are all having a fabulous day!! I am sooo EXCITED, i got my new spring kit from C.C.Designs and i finally had a chance to play with them. For this card i not only used this precious sitting emma, but i also used stamps from other C.C. Designs sets. I used my scallop and circle nestabilities to cut the mat and inside panel. i stamped my bench onto the white panel, then stamped some grass around the bench. I sponged my panel with green and blue ink to give the sky and ground some separation. i stamped and colored and cut out Emma and my birdie and pop dotted them onto the bench. i used my oval punch to cut out my sentiment and used my Lg oval punch to cut the glitter paper to mat my sentiment onto. added a ribbon and done. I made this card for a very sweet friend, and i hope she enjoys it. Well, that's all i have for today, i thank you so much for visiting and hope you enjoy your day!!! :0)

It's a Girl Thing

Hello, i hope you all had a wonderful weekend :0) today i would like to share a card with you using shopping Anya from the Greeting farm. is she not fabulous? I paper pieced her socks, shirt, and headband. I must say it's been quite awhile since i paper pieced an image and it was alot of fun. I mainly made this card for the Cooking it up with Katie Challenge #11 which is a recipe, *something girly, paper piecing, and use 2 designer papers* Katie also has a DT call out, if you are interested you can find all the details here. I must say, i tend to have alot of trouble with recipe challenges. i'm so used to grabbing whatever i want when i make a card that i don't really pay attention to how much paper and embellishments i use, so it's hard for me to be told how much of what to use, but that's the whole idea of a challenge right? it's not supposed to be easy.

Okay well enough of my ramblings, for my card i used the ever so adorable Precious Emmy, i just love this image. Can you believe i actually made Emmy a blonde? I don't think i have ever colored any of my images with blonde hair, mainly because i try to relate them to my girls who are all brown haired so i thought it was time for a change. To tell you the truth i really like it. i'm going to have to do it more often.

Okay well i'm being longwinded today and i don't know why, so if your still with me i appreciate it, if not i don't blame you. I do hope you will join us for this challenge. For my card i used the beautiful Carmen image and also the Hola sentiment. I used lots of bright colors, i thought it would give her a more spanish dancer feel. Of coarse in my picture you can't tell but there is alot of sparkle going on all over her dress. I used my glitter gel pens on the flowers, her dress, and earrings. looks so pretty IRL.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY !!!

Hello friends, hope you all are having a wonderful Valentine's Day! just thought i would post a couple of goodie bags i made. for these treat bags i used this week's Tek Tuesday Tutorial over at The Character Cafe.

Have you seen Wendy's adorable ladybug images at the Digital Delights store? The minute i laid eyes on them i fell in love!!! so of coarse i just had to use this Larry Ladybug topper for my treat bag.
I made the sign using my computer. I'm always calling my girls my little lovebugs which is why i think i love ladybugs so much, so i thought this worked out perfectly.

I also made another treat bag that i thought might work for a boy, don't know if i accomplished that. I tried not to use too girly of colors but i don't know, are these still too girly? anyways, i used the Be My Valentine- Carl set from Stamps and Smiles. I just think he's adorable!!




I cut out the box of chocolates and the flowers and pop dotted them to Carl's hands. I think these treat bags came out super cute and were so fun to make i think i will be making more for Easter.

Sassy White Rabbit

Happy Monday Friends, i hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was uneventful and cold, so it was great to just stay home. I did get the chance to make hubby's valentine card though. I chose to use Sassy White Rabbit from Sassy Studio Designs. is she not the sexiest rabbit you've ever seen. WOW!! i colored her with my copics and used my stardust glitter pen to outline her dress and buttons. I added some white Ranger glitter to her ears and the inside of the clock for some sparkle. i added an embossed panel to give the card a little more texture, then added a chipboard heart. I didn't want to add too much seeing as how this is a card for my hubby, if it was up to me there would be ribbon and pearls, the whole nine yards!! LoL! but i think he'll like this. I also sponged the edges of my main panel using the Studio Sunday Tutorial by Jen found here.

New Release Blog Hop from The Character Cafe

I chose some of my leftover spring paper from last year, because hey paper never goes out of style right? at least not at this house. lol~ I embossed my bottom panel, added a chipboard flower with a pink rhinestone center, added my sentiment ~i went with happy spring with this card so now i'm ahead one spring card woohoo! The sketch i used is from this week's Splitcoast Card Sketch.

Busy Beauties Boutique New Release Blog Hop!!

Hello my friends are you ready for another Busy Beauties Boutique blog hop? Well i certainly hope you are because we have some Fabulous new images to show you so let's get hoppin'!! The first card i made is using the Lovestruck Beauty image, isn't she just gorgeous!! The sketch i used is from the ICS (Inspirations Card Sketches) challenge blog that Busy Beauties is sponsoring this week. so there's another way to win more challenges.

The second image i used is from the "we go together" line, and this is "Like fries and ketchup." Don't these fries look yummy? and that cute little heart out of ketchup is just too cute!! of coarse i just had to make a little gifty out of this. I found a cute little french fry template here. printed it out on red cardstock, embossed the front of my box with my hearts embossing folder and added some dp to the back panel of the inside of my box. cut out the images and pop dotted them to my box. I threw in a gift card to my favorite fry place, add some heart chocolates and i think this would make a cute little gift.
