CDS Dairy Delights by Louby Loo Preview

Good Morning Friends,

Today is preview day at Clear Dollar Stamps and i have a card using the deliciously sweet "Dairy Delights" clear stamp set by Louby Loo Creations and digital accessories to show you.

I used the ice cream cart from the ice cream parlor digi's, printed it out twice, cut the wheels and the awning off one of the images, colored and pop dotted them to the main cart to give them some dimension. For the awning i taped the top to the main image and added the pop dots a little lower on the main image to make it flair out some. looks pretty neat IRL. i added some white flat back pearls to the middle of my wheels to make them stand out a bit. for the background mat on my card i used the Argyle embossing folder and tried to make the appearance of a waffle cone to go with the cute little sundae stamps that i used from the Dairy Delights stamp set. I also used the stamp "Here's the scoop" for the name of my ice cream cart. Now i just used the sundaes from the set, but take a look at the adorable stamps that make up the rest of this set:

Okay, now if that wasn't just the Sweetest, take a look at the fabulous Digi images that compliment the stamp set pefectly!! These images are available already colored or black and white, whichever you prefer.

The "Dairy Delights" Clear Stamp set will be available at Clear Dollar Stamps on July 1st. The Ice Cream Parlor Digital Accessories will also be available on July 1st at the Digital Delights Digi Shop.

Bah Humbug

Good Morning my friends,

Well i sure hope you are reading this post right now seeing as how i had to schedule it, so i just hope it worked. LoL!!

Anyways, today is my week off from The Character Cafe challenge so i'm blogland bound looking for challenges to enter my Sassy Miss Priss Card into. The Bah Humbug sentiment is also included with one of the images in the set. I chose to cut it apart and use it on it's own.

I chose to use the Miss Priss image from The Character Cafe to enter her into the Digital Tuesday, Christmas in June Challenge. boy, by the look on her face she is not so keen on Christmas in June. a little too early for her maybe? I also used the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious for my card. I'm also going to enter her into the ABC Challenge ~X for Xtra dimension.

New Digital Delights ALL ABOUT SUMMER Challenge

I used my all time favorite digi Sitting Penny from Digital Delights. I just love this little girl, as you can tell by my banner. Anyways this image is sooo versatile in that you can add anything in her hands to hold. I chose to have her hold this cute little kitten that is available in the Billy and Maggie Carolers clear stamp set, available Here. I also used the sun digi stamp found here to give my tag a little summertime sunshine.

Exciting News!! and a new card

Happy Monday Friends!

I'm so Excited to announce that Beginning July 1st i will be designing for Squigglefly. I just love the variety of artists and images they have there.

Of coarse i just had to jump right in and start creating using one of their fabulous images. I chose to use Chesney Young's "Number One" image. I made this cute little tag using my daughter's school colors to put on her sports bag. Close up:
I made my own background paper by random stamping "Go Team" using a stamp from one of my other stamp sets.

Well, that's all i have to show for today, i Thank You for coming by and can't wait to show you all more creations using Squigglefly's amazing images!!

Feature Friday #22

Happy Friday!!!

WoW i seem to be saying that alot. these fridays are coming way too fast! LoL

Welcome to Feature Friday #22 with The Character Cafe. Today we have another technique challenge for you:

PAPER PIECING

For my card today i used the newly released Hillary Hippo image, isn't she a sweetie!! I printed her out twice, once on some flower dp from Close To My Heart and then on white cardstock. I colored in all the pieces i wanted colored with my copics first, then I cut out the flowered body from the dp and glued it to my white image. The hippo birthday sentiment is also included on one of the images. i just used my punch to separate it and added it to the top of my card. Paper piecing is so much fun, it's also a great way to use up some of that leftover dp you have laying around.

Now it's your turn, grab an image and paper piece away. Be sure to upload your creation to Mr. Linky on The Character Cafe blog before next Thurs. at Midnight. Happy Father's Day

Hello Friends,

It's friday already and time for a new Feature Friday Challenge at The Character Cafe. June is Technique month, so all the challenges will include a technique. This week is:

Father's Day Card & Embossing

Now this week was my off week at TCC but i couldn't resist participating in this challenge. For my card i used the oh so Adorable Father's Day Hatchlings image available from The Character Cafe Digi shop.

New Releases, New Sketch Challenge, and New Card

Welcome Friends,

Have we got the cutest New digi release for you from Digital Delights. Penny's back and she has brought with her the cutest little bumble bee friends. All of these adorable images are available Now at The Digital Delights Digi shop.

Today we also have a fabulous new sketch challenge for you over at Delightful Sketches. We would love to have you all play along.


Of Coarse with new releases as cute as these how could i not have a card to show you today. I used the New Release image Bumble Bee Larry along with today's New sketch challenge. To make my card, I used some paper from Fancy Pants Designs and K & Co., some K & Co. dimensional stickers, small roses from Prima, Orange grosgrain ribbon and my lg oval and scallop oval punches. the Sentiment is from one of my C.C. Designs stamp sets.

I printed out my bumble bee twice and cut out the wings and face to add to my main image and give it dimension. I used some black bigger brads to his antennae. My card would not be complete without his glittery wings.

King of the Grill

hello friends,

I'm back with another card from the newly released Backyard Barbeque clear stamp set available at Clear Dollar Stamps.

I've seen this apron shaped card, (template used here)being used around blogland and thought it would be perfect with this set. Can't you just see giving this cute card to the cook after being invited to a tasty BBQ? for my card I took the apron template and laid the top against the folded edge of my cardstock and traced the template and just cut it out. I covered my card using some big gingham Dp to give the look of the tablecloth usually found covering the picnic table lol ~added some of the images from the stamp set and my sentiment and there you have it, a quick easy card. The King of the Grill sentiment is also a newly released Digi image that can be found at the Digital Delights digi shop along with some other fabulous accessories that go perfectly with this set. Don't forget, this set is also perfect for all those BBQ scrapbook layouts. Well, that's all i have for now be sure to check out this Have to have summer set and it's coordinating accessories.

Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge #5 Just for Kids

Hello to you all,

Today Sweet Heather at Heather's Coffee Break is having a new release blog hop for her Fresh Brewed Designs images. as i was hopping along i came across this adorable new image Hannah Belle with Kitty. I just instantly knew i had to have this image as we just got my girls a new kitten not too long ago and this image definately relates to them. They actually fight to see who will brush out his fur. No matter how much they bother him he just absolutely loves them. The "Forever Friends" sentiment i used is from the Friendship set by AmyRstamps over All That Scraps. I thought it worked out perfectly. The sketch i used is this week's sketch from SCS.

Of coarse, how could i make this card using this adorable image and not enter it into the Freshly Brewed Challenge. the theme being Just For Kids. So head on over and enter your kid cards, i'm sure Heather would love to see them.

4th Day of SSD Relay
